We have electric log splitters available for hire nationwide. These machines are Iris hydraulic 240v log splitters. They are easy to use and they allow you to split large volumes of logs with minimal time and effort. Splitting logs and trunks makes them much more manageable to move around and store for firewood or to use for other purposes.

These electric log splitters have a heavy duty splitting bed and simple two lever control for fast, simple and efficient log splitting. They also have an adjustable wedge to accommodate logs of different sizes and a two speed hydraulic cylinder for increased speed depending on the type of wood you want to split. With a cycle time of 14 seconds, you can split vast quantities of wood in no time.

Using a log splitter is simple and straightforward. Simply place the wood on to the splitter bed, pull the lever, and the hydraulic arm harnesses its 8 tonnes of power to push the log up against the splitting blade and efficiently break it into two separate pieces. Once the log has been split, the hydraulic arm re-sets and is ready to go again.

Our electric hydraulic log splitters are 240v pieces of equipment, so they can be used at home by DIY users and simply plugged into a domestic 240v mains plug socket.

We have petrol powered log splitters available for hire nationwide. These machines are Oxdale SE400 hydraulic log splitters. They are capable of splitting logs up to 450mm high and they are not limited to the width of logs they can split. They are easy to use and they allow you to split large logs and large volumes of logs in no time.

These petrol log splitters are heavy duty upright machines. They feature a 6.5hp Honda GX200 petrol engine and a specially forged hardened splitting wedge with a double chamfer, to give the best splitting action available on the market. These machines offer 10 tonnes of force, so they are capable of going through even large logs effortlessly. For safety, all hydraulic pipes are covered in anti burst lagging and both hands are required on the lever to operate the ram. With a full cycle time of under ten seconds, you can split large amounts of wood in no time at all.

Using one of these log splitters is easy and straightforward. Simply place the wood on to the splitter bed, pull the lever, and the hydraulic arm harnesses its 10 tonnes of power to slice the splitting blade through the log and break it into two separate pieces. Once the log has been split, the hydraulic arm resets and is ready to go again.
