The vCam 5 Drain Camera from Vivax offers the latest imaging technology in a strong and highly resilient moulded housing, designed for heavy-duty contract work for industries such as plumbing.

Featuring an 8-inch readable LCD screen for the 3x zoom high-resolution camera, this specialist unit provides a professional solution to underground inspections of cavities, sewers, drains or inaccessible areas.

To allow for image reviewing, this machine houses easy-to-use one-touch recording and snapshots that can be saved to either an internal 300gb hard disk drive or optional external USB/SD sources. Thanks to the inbuilt playback controls, footage and images can be reviewed instantly.

The vCam 5 Drain Camera also features a multi-colour on-screen display showing the distance, date and time stamps of the camera – making it easy to pinpoint exact areas and save time on return explorations of the site.

Marking files and organisation also couldn’t be simpler, thanks to its full QWERTY weatherproof keyboard and text writer, complete with 20 pages of storage and multi-coloured text options for clear and concise noting and the ability to highlight key points effectively.

As for power, the vCam 5 Drain Camera houses a high-capacity internal battery that can be charged, as well as a wired AC/DC option for longer term use. This unit also stars exceptional connectivity features, including Wi-Fi and RJ45 Ethernet computer interfaces, for seamless data transfers.

Other inputs include video and audio in/out ports for using external equipment or microphones, with voice-over also available through the high-quality internal microphone as well.
